The Head of the New Capital Authority signed land use agreements and notarial deeds at the Public Works Ministry Hall in Jakarta with five investors, including PT Balikpapan Ready Mix Nusantara, PT Berkah Bersinar Abadi, PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), PT Puri Persada Lampung, and Surabaya State University. They will develop mixed-use buildings, office towers, hotels, and university campuses in the new capital. He stated that this represents purely private investment amounting to IDR 1.2 trillion, with a total investment of IDR 6.9 trillion. Previously, during a hearing with Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives on February 12, 2025, he explained that five purely private and state-owned enterprise projects would enter the new capital between 2025 and 2026, with a total value of IDR 6.94 trillion, listing specific projects including the Surabaya State University campus, and indicated that more projects would follow.
