PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), a subsidiary of the Sinar Mas Group, through its subsidiary PT Kuningan Mas Gemilang (KMG), has signed an agreement with PT LG Sinarmas Technology Solutions (LGSM) for the latter to construct the SMX01 data center, with a project value of IDR 1.23 trillion (excluding taxes and other fees). The project is positioned as an AI-ready data center, located in the Jakarta business district, and is planned to begin operations in the second quarter of 2026. The white space area of the data hall is nearly 15,500 square meters, containing 9 data halls that can accommodate 2,400 racks (up to 340 racks per data hall). Initial power capacity is 18 megawatts, scalable to 60 megawatts. Services will include colocation, hyperscale services for high power density rack requirements, and application scenarios such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. This project aims to seize growth opportunities in the digital market, diversify revenue sources, and provide long-term stable contributions; improve digital service quality, enhance competitiveness, and expand market share in the high-standard data center service sector; support the development of the digital technology ecosystem, create added value for businesses, and promote Indonesia as a hub for technological transformation and innovation in Southeast Asia.
