Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJMotor announced that its factory in Indonesia will officially commence production in January 2026 in Cikarang, West Java, serving as a production base for the Asia-Pacific region. According to the Vice President of Brand and Marketing Communications at QJMotor Indonesia, the factory will initially produce 250cc series models, including the SRV 250 AMT, Libero, Fort 250, and Fort 250 Adventure.
These models are already sold in Indonesia, with plans to localize production using the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) method. The factory is expected to become QJMotor's first production base in ASEAN. He stated that the completion of the factory will bring additional advantages for consumers, possibly through adjustments in pricing strategy or the incorporation of more advanced technology.He also revealed that initially, the company will attempt full localization of production for the four existing models to meet market demand and enhance competitiveness. With the new factory operational, QJMotor is likely to launch more new products in the Indonesian market equipped with advanced technology and relatively affordable prices, further expanding its business footprint in the region.
