Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJMotor has announced that its plant in Indonesia will officially start production in January 2026 in Cikarang, West Java, as a production base for the Asia-Pacific region.According to QJMotor Indonesia's Vice President of Branding and Marketing Communications, the factory will first produce the250cc SeriesIncludesSRV 250 AMT, Libero, Fort 250 and Fort 250 Adventureetc.
These are all models already sold in Indonesia and are planned to be locally produced on a CKD (complete kit distribution) basis. The plant is expected to beQJMotor's first production facility in ASEAN. He said the completion of the plant will bring additional advantages to consumers, possibly in thePrice strategy or piggybackingmore advanced technologyAdjustments have been made.
He also revealed thatInitially, it will try to localize all four existing models.to meet market demand and enhance competitiveness.
