Jia Jianjing, born on July 21, 1963. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy with a Bachelor of Arts degree. From 1989 to 2006, he worked as a director and editor at the Advertising and Economic Information Center of China Central Television (CCTV), where his public service announcement "Anti-Corruption: No Time to Delay" won the first prize and the Best Creative Award in the "Advertising Impression Award" of the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television. From 2006 to 2010, he served as a correspondent at CCTV's Hong Kong station. In 2010, he was appointed as the chief correspondent and head of CCTV's Jakarta bureau.
