Content Overview
This book collects the insights and anecdotes of Jia Jianjing, the first chief correspondent of CCTV in Indonesia, during his interviews across South Asian countries. The content covers local customs, natural environments, etiquette and habits of various countries. It is a glimpse into the概况 of Indonesia and the Nanyang countries. Although not necessarily precise, it is filled with details and is the author's heartfelt impressions. Most of the author's time was spent stationed in Indonesia, so the main part of the book describes Indonesia. The author has been working in Indonesia since 2010, and had not left by the time this book was published, so he knows Indonesia like the back of his hand. The word "Lens" in the title implies the part within the author's work scope, while "Beyond" indicates the range of content, which is precisely the casual reflections beyond work.
