Chinese automaker GAC Aion, though a new brand, is actively expanding into the Indonesian market. The CEO of Aion Indonesia stated that the target for 2025 is to have over 50 dealers in Indonesia, with more than 40 already established. Its dealers are spread across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali, and Java, and products have even been displayed in Aceh. This move aims to introduce advanced electric vehicle technology and serve Indonesian consumers. The emergence of new dealers is expected to expand the after-sales service network and provide direct experience for consumers considering switching to electric vehicles. Meanwhile, Aion will build charging stations at each dealer, and some specific dealers will be equipped with fast-charging stations. In some locations, charging services will be provided free of charge to facilitate battery charging for consumers.
