Indonesia's new capital Nusantara (IKN) construction recently reached an important investment milestone. Chinese foreign-funded enterprise PT Star Bright International Investment officially started construction of a local integrated park project, which is also the first foreign-funded self-built construction project in the new capital, with a total investment of up to 1.25 trillion IDR, expected to be fully completed by the end of 2026, injecting strong foreign investment momentum into the new capital's development. The project is located in the prime area of Zone 1B, the government core area of the new capital, covering 15,501 square meters, with extremely high strategic location value. The head of the New Capital Authority stated that the project site faces the presidential palace, judicial and legislative core areas under construction, and the entire core government affairs area is expected to be fully completed by 2028, offering unique locational advantages. The overall project follows the sustainable development concept promoted by the new capital, creating a comprehensive urban supporting park integrating apartments, dining, retail, and office spaces.

The park's residential units range from one to three-bedroom layouts, complete with family living spaces, and feature a full set of public facilities including a swimming pool, fitness center, commercial streets, and urban green spaces, improving the residential and commercial amenities of the new capital. The project is invested and developed by China's Star Bright Company, which specializes in investment, real estate development, and project management, in partnership with Sichuan Zhongda Jiancheng Engineering Management Group, which has over twenty years of engineering construction experience, ensuring project construction quality and efficiency. The company's chairman is highly optimistic about the development prospects of the new capital, believing that the newly planned IKN has strong urban development potential. The Chinese team also plans to further invest in the hotel and cultural tourism sectors. At the same time, the project actively implements a localized development approach, involving a large number of local contractors from East Kalimantan in construction, helping local enterprises grow and driving regional economic growth and employment. The groundbreaking ceremony also attracted attention from multinational capital, with Korean company PT Dian Jaya Indonesia also planning to develop apartment and hotel projects in the same area. In addition, representatives from Wantong Group, China Minsheng Bank, several domestic technology companies, and chambers of commerce attended the event, fully reflecting the high recognition of IKN investment opportunities by the Chinese business community and confirming the strong confidence of international capital in the prospects of the new capital's construction.
