Baru Regency recently welcomed an important foreign investment inspection. Indonesia's Firman Group, together with China's Jinchunyu Seed Technology team, visited Siawung Village in Baru Regency to assess local industrial investment potential and discuss cooperation on the full garlic deep-processing industry chain. The Deputy Regent of Baru Regency received the delegation on behalf of the Regent, who was on a pilgrimage, and officially signaled Baru Regency's full openness to domestic and foreign investment and its commitment to building a port-side industrial park. The Deputy Regent stated that the Baru Regency government warmly welcomes all investors to establish businesses and is committed to creating an efficient, convenient, and transparent investment service environment. The area boasts exceptional location and geographical advantages, covering a total area of 1,174.72 square kilometers with a coastline of 78 kilometers.

The land plot inspected by the investors is planned as a core industrial zone, located less than 5 kilometers from Galongong Port, giving it a prominent port-side location advantage. The port sits on Indonesia's second island shipping route, directly connected to international shipping lanes, offering excellent logistics accessibility and smooth access to overseas markets, especially the Chinese market, making it a core competitive advantage for investment in Baru Regency. To fully safeguard investment implementation, the Baru Regency government has introduced one-stop landing services. In accordance with the Regent's directives, the local Investment and Integrated Services Agency will handle all administrative approvals, licensing, and documentation processes on behalf of investors, streamlining investment procedures, reducing processing time, and ensuring projects progress legally, efficiently, and rapidly, providing full support for enterprises. The Group's CEO stated that this inspection aims to conduct on-site research into Baru Regency's land, location, and industrial foundation, and to establish a regular communication channel with the local government.

Both parties plan to establish an integrated garlic deep-processing industrial park, with supporting warehousing facilities, a research and development center, a supporting industrial system, and deep-processing production lines for agricultural products, creating a complete upstream-downstream garlic industry chain. The corporate team will first conduct comprehensive research, verifying land compliance, administrative conditions, and various regulatory qualifications, and strictly follow local regulations in project preparation. At the same time, the company commits to integrating social responsibility programs into the investment project, driving local employment and income growth so that industrial development benefits the local community. This inspection marks the official start of industrial cooperation between Chinese enterprises and Baru Regency, which is expected to help upgrade local industry, create jobs, and boost regional economic growth.
