Wuling electric vehicles once again become the official vehicles for an international event. This time, Wuling electric vehicles appeared at the High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships and the 2024 Indonesia-Africa Forum (HLF-MSP & 2nd IAF 2024) held in Bali from September 1 to 3, 2024. At this international event, Wuling once again carries the spirit of "Shaping a Clean Tomorrow" to contribute to a greener and more sustainable environment for the future. Wuling provided 158 electric vehicles for this event, including 100 Binguo EVs and 58 Cloud EVs. Wuling Motors expresses its gratitude to the State Secretariat for selecting Wuling EV electric vehicles as representatives and transportation for state guests at international events. Wuling Motors has been participating in this international event since 2017. A Wuling Motors Vice President stated that, to date, Wuling Motors remains trusted as the official automotive partner for high-level meetings.
Wuling allocated 42 Cloud EVs as courtesy and rescue units in VVIP series events, and 16 units for the national committee operations during the event. The Wuling Cloud EV is a medium-sized hatchback electric vehicle focused on comfort and modern innovation. Additionally, 100 Binguo EVs were deployed as travel companions for delegates. The Binguo EV is an electric hatchback with an iconic design and modern features. Both Wuling EV models are produced at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, with a local content level (TKDN) exceeding 40%, demonstrating Wuling Motors' commitment to supporting the domestic electric vehicle industry.
At least representatives from 52 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Pacific Islands are planned to attend this summit. The government hopes that Wuling can continue to cooperate with the Indonesian government in other international events in the future, as a form of supporting the environmentally friendly transformation of Indonesia's transportation technology. The brand has made various preparations to provide the best transportation services for delegation guests. Since August 25, 2024, all Wuling EVs have arrived at Tanjung Benoa Port for duty, and were subsequently delivered to the Wuling Jimbaran Pool and ITDC Parking Center for pre-delivery inspection (PDI). Wuling has also provided an electric vehicle service center facility in the Jimbaran area, operating 24 hours a day, including parking, charging stations, car wash, integrated real-time management, security personnel, and experienced mechanics. In addition, Wuling has provided a charging station at the ITDC parking lot, specifically for charging the Cloud EV models in the VVIP series. To provide product features and information, Wuling conducted special training for 116 drivers from the State Secretariat at the Wuling Jimbaran Pool. This training aimed to ensure the drivers have an in-depth understanding of the Binguo EV and Cloud EV. 42 members of the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres) also received this special training.
