The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and CNGR, a Chinese company operating in the nickel industry, have agreed to cooperate in the fields of energy and minerals as well as human resource (HR) development. This cooperation was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) and CNGR's Assistant President at the CNGR Industrial Area in China. This visit and the signing of the MoU mark the beginning of deeper strategic cooperation aimed at achieving mutual benefits. Their visit to the CNGR industrial area and the signing of the MoU signify the start of cooperation between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and CNGR, with both sides prepared for future collaboration in the energy and mineral sectors as well as talent development. During this working visit, they toured CNGR's global R&D center and material production workshop, witnessing the company's R&D and production processes firsthand. This visit is very important for Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources as it provides an opportunity to understand the practices of globally integrated new energy enterprises like CNGR. They consider this working visit very important for bilateral cooperation and also hope to strengthen collaboration with CNGR in areas such as sustainable mining, technology talent development, good mining practices, and cross-border scientific research cooperation. They also visited the CNGR Science and Technology Museum to learn about CNGR's development history, global industrial layout, industrial recycling system, and industry-academia-research system. In addition, they expressed gratitude for the development platform CNGR provides for its Indonesian employees. They welcomed CNGR's initiatives in cultural integration, especially when they learned that Indonesian employees had won the CNGR Music Festival finals and would participate in the upcoming CNGR Sports Games. They greatly appreciated CNGR's efforts in providing a platform for cultural integration. Senior executives of the Chinese company also emphasized CNGR's commitment to green and sustainable development. CNGR can contribute to the advancement of Indonesia's energy and mineral industry through technology, innovation, and talent development. CNGR is committed to building a close relationship with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to promote the development of Indonesia's energy and mineral sector and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries (DKD).
