Indonesian police procured Chinese brand from PT Prestisius Aviasi Indonesia (Prestige Aviation)EVA 216 - S Electric Air Taxi.The air cab, which was displayed at the 79th anniversary of the Indonesian National Police, will be used to enhance police air patrols.The Executive Chairman of Prestige Aviation said that the purchase demonstrates the seriousness with which the Indonesian Police is adopting future technologies to enhance its services and national security response, and symbolizes the readiness of the Indonesian Police to adapt to global technological developments and the country's ability to be a participant in the development of the technology and not just a bystander. With an operating cost of only hundreds of thousands of rupiah per flight, the vehicle can be an efficient solution for daily patrols in densely populated areas and areas that are difficult to reach with ground vehicles. It can automatically conduct aerial patrols for real-time monitoring of crime-prone areas, disaster zones, and crowded areas; support emergency needs and enable rapid medical evacuation in hard-to-reach locations; integrate with command centers to support rapid decision-making based on aerial vision; and efficiently mobilize police personnel in emergency situations. Part of the company's long-term vision to build Indonesia's urban air transportation ecosystem, the EVA 216-S is an air cab that, with its AI-based auto-navigation capabilities, cloud drone cloud system, and globally-tested high level of safety, is expected to become the backbone of Indonesia's modern air transportation. The vehicle has a passenger capacity of 2; a maximum speed of 130 km/h; a range of 30 km; a flight time of 25 minutes; a load capacity of 220 kg; 16 motors and propellers; a charging time of about 90 minutes; a fully automated mode of operation that does not require a pilot; and a two-door design that allows for vertical takeoff and landing.
