West Java Patimban Port Project Progress Has Reached 64.72%

As of the beginning of July 2025, the progress of the construction work of Package 6 of Patimban Port, Subang Regency, West Java Province, with the participation of PT Wijaya Karya (WIKA) has reached 64.72%, with the work focusing on the construction of the jetty area and the process of sand filling and land reclamation.The project is part of a national strategic project to support the maritime transportation system and improve the efficiency of domestic and foreign trade. Sediment curtain frame technology was used in the dredging work to minimize the impact on the environment while improving the time and cost efficiency of the work. The project provides local employment opportunities with approximately 200 local workers actively involved in project implementation. It is expected to facilitate the flow of imports and exports, enhance inter-regional connectivity, and promote economic growth in Subang and the surrounding areas. The project is being constructed by the Penta Ocean-Toyo-Rinkai-PP-Wika-Jakon alliance, whose members include a number of domestic and international construction companies. The project will complete Phase 1-1 and upon completion, the total length of the container terminal will be 840 meters, the total area of the container terminal area will be 40 hectares, and the depth of the channel will be - 14 meters.WIKAThe Managing Director said that Patimban Port is an important node in the country's logistics chain, and WIKA is committed to adding value to Indonesia's economy by accelerating the construction of Package 6 to create an efficient and modern port.
