BAE to launch new model T in Indonesia at pre-sale price or below Rp 400 million

GAC AION is working to build a dedicated EV plant in West Java with an initial capacity of 20,000 units per year, with the goal of increasing capacity to 50,000 units per year, with the aim of boosting the EV ecosystem in Indonesia.The AION UT models are crafted by renowned automotive designers and feature a modern look with smooth body lines, unique Matrix Cube Light headlamps and 17-inch wheels, combining sportiness and elegance for urban trend-setters. Based on the AEP 3.0 platform, it is available in Standard and Premium versions. The standard version is equipped with a 44 kWh battery; the Premium version has a 60 kWh battery, a range of up to 500 km, a maximum power of 201 hp and a torque of 210 Nm. Charging is efficient, with DC fast charging from 30% to 80% taking only about 24 minutes. Equipped with a panoramic sunroof, seats with ventilation, wireless fast charging, AdiGO 6-speaker audio system, and AI-based voice commands to provide a comfortable and convenient driving experience. The official price will be announced at GIIAS 2025 and is expected to be priced at less than 400 million rupiah with Ora03,MG4 EV, the BYD Dolphin and the Wuling Yundo EV are in direct competition with other models and are considered to offer good value for money.
