Chinese heavy machinery manufacturer XCMG Group (XCMG) announced at the Indonesia Mining Expo that it will strengthen its supply of environmental equipment in the Indonesian market and plans to set up a local assembly plant.The enterprise plans to add new electric construction machinery product line, focusing on promoting 20 models of existing electric equipment (including excavators, loaders, etc.) The goal is to increase the proportion of electric products to 30% by 2026.

The business also proposes to establish assembly plants in Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), Morowali (Central Sulawesi) and Hamarhela (North Maluku), with investments expected to start in 2026.
