During the 2025 Indonesia Trade Expo (TEI), Indonesia and China signed 9 trade cooperation agreements at the "Indonesia-China Strategic Trade and Investment Opportunities" business forum. 360 Chinese entrepreneurs participated in the forum. Key areas of cooperation include green energy, waste-to-energy, automotive mobility ecosystems, smart aquaculture feeding systems, and Indonesian coffee procurement. The Indonesian Ambassador to China stated that bilateral relations have been elevated to the highest level of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The forum aims to strengthen trade cooperation, promote investment flows, and explore new collaboration opportunities. The Indonesian Consul General in Guangzhou noted that the forum provides a platform to tap trade and investment potential and build new business networks. The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, laying the foundation for deepening cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, green economy, and digital transformation. The forum also discussed topics including global supply chain strengthening, manufacturing cooperation, renewable energy, and industrial zone development.
