宁德时代助力印尼-新加坡可再生能源出口

Renewable energy developer Vena Energy has signed a battery storage supply agreement with Ningde Times (CATL) to support its Indonesia-Singapore renewable energy export project.Under the agreement, CATL will supply up to 4GWh of EnerX Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to Vena Energy's subsidiary PT Infrastruktur Terbarukan Sedaya forStorage of daytime electricity from 2GWp of solar power in the Riau IslandsThe cable is then transmitted to Singapore via a submarine cable.

Developed by Singapore-based Vena Energy (part of the Vena Group, an Asia-Pacific developer of green energy and digital infrastructure) in partnership with Shell Oriental Trading, the project aims to create an "Indonesia-Singapore Renewable Energy Corridor" that will provide more than 2.6 TWh of annual adjustable clean energy and a "semi-stable renewable power supply". "Semi-stabilized Renewable Power Supply".

September 2024, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) of Singapore granted conditional licenses or approvals to seven cross-border Indo-Singapore renewable energy import transmission projects.Vena-Shell project gets 0.4GW conditional approvalThe
