Global leader in high-performance film materials Zhonglun New Materials Co., Ltd. recently announced that its first overseas production base – the Indonesia Changsu High-Performance Film Material Production Base – has officially commenced production. This project is the first overseas production capacity project in China's high-performance film material industry, marking Zhonglun New Materials' strategic upgrade from "product going global" and "brand going global" to "production capacity going global", reshaping the competitive landscape of the global functional film material market and building a new growth engine for the company's long-term stable development. The Indonesia Changsu production base is located in the Suryacipta Industrial Park in West Java Province, with a total investment of over 1 billion yuan and a planned annual production capacity of 90,000 tons of high-performance biaxially oriented polyamide film (BOPA). Once fully operational, it will become Southeast Asia's largest functional film material production base. As Zhonglun New Materials' fourth production base, the project enables the company to build a global production capacity network with "domestic dual fulcrums (Xiamen, Quanzhou) + overseas hub (Indonesia)". BOPA film, leveraging its advantages of tensile resistance and high barrier properties, is widely used in high-growth sectors such as new energy, food, pharmaceuticals, and daily chemicals. After the Indonesia base achieves localized production, it will significantly shorten delivery cycles for the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Americas markets, improve customer response efficiency, and further expand overseas business profit margins. Over the next two years, the base will gradually release new production capacity, propelling Zhonglun New Materials' global supply capabilities to new heights. As a "nylon film king" with a global BOPA market share exceeding 20%, Zhonglun New Materials' core competitiveness stems from its strong technological strength. The Indonesia base is equipped with the company's independently innovated fifth-generation low-carbon biaxial stretching technology, representing the world's leading level in this field and marking the first time a Chinese company has exported an advanced BOPA intelligent manufacturing system overseas. By replicating its mature high-end intelligent manufacturing technology to the Indonesia base, the company can achieve efficient, high-quality customized production, precisely meet the diverse needs of global customers, and form a product premium capability and market share moat. The commissioning of Zhonglun New Materials' Indonesia base has already gained recognition from many world-renowned downstream customers in Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, and other regions, while also aligning with Indonesia's industrial upgrading needs, making it a benchmark project driving regional industrial development. Currently, Zhonglun New Materials has formed a global supply chain network, an integrated industry chain layout, and a "high-precision and cutting-edge" product matrix, building a hard-to-replicate global competitive advantage.
