Due to business restructuring at its China headquarters, Neta Auto has officially suspended electric vehicle production in Indonesia. This was confirmed by the Vice President of PT Handal Indonesia Motor, Neta's assembly partner in Indonesia. He also stated that Neta still has raw materials and vehicle inventory, so if production resumes later, it will not need to start from scratch. He emphasized that whether Neta produces in Indonesia is entirely at the discretion of the brand's licensed distributor, while the company only handles the assembly work.
Previously, Neta had announced a series of strategic adjustments due to the headquarters restructuring, including outsourcing some consumer services to third parties. Currently, Neta's after-sales service in Indonesia is handled by the Otoklix network and Anma Mobil in Tangerang Cipondoh. Neta also issued an official statement apologizing for any inconvenience to consumers, while ensuring sufficient spare parts supply and that warranty policies remain unchanged.
However, Neta's dealer network in Indonesia continues to shrink, with many dealerships closed and switching to other brands. As of now, Neta's Indonesian subsidiary has not clearly announced its future business direction, nor has it disclosed any plans to launch new models in the Indonesian market.
