The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account on evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in to evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- A valid passport of their nationality with validity of at least 6 months before its expiration date,
- proof of having sufficient living funds during their stay in Indonesian territory in the form of bank statements from the last 3 months under the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount;

Other Provisions
- The visa validity period is 90 days from the date of issuance. If not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay; please check your visa for information regarding the length of your stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in Indonesian territory beyond the period of your stay permit, engaging in work that is not in accordance with your stay permit, or selling goods or services, unless required for your work.

Visa Application at the Directorate General of Immigration:

Processing time is five working days after the visa payment is received.
