Neta Auto Indonesia permanently closed its first dealership located in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. This closure is a strategic decision based on comprehensive business considerations aimed at operational adjustments. The brand's PR and Digital Manager stated that the decision was the result of mutual agreement between both parties, prioritizing customer interests and the continuation of after-sales services. Despite closing one dealership, Neta Auto remains committed to supporting the development of Indonesia's electric vehicle industry, and the existing network of 13 dealerships ensures that consumer rights and services—including vehicle warranties, emergency roadside assistance, door-to-door service, and vehicle repair record inquiries—remain unaffected. Neta Auto has recently been mired in negative publicity, with reports of financial difficulties, disbandment of its R&D team in China, employee layoffs, unpaid wages, and payment disputes with parts suppliers who went to the Shanghai headquarters to demand payments. Neta Auto Indonesia responded that these situations are actually the company's efficiency improvement measures, and that issues in China will not affect its business development in Indonesia.
