Chinese firms participate in South Tanggelong waste-to-energy project

The South Tanggelang City Government will cooperate with a Chinese company to build a waste power treatment facility (PSEL). The facility utilizes environmentally friendly and modern technology, which the mayor said will be a model for urban waste disposal in Indonesia.The mayor, accompanied by relevant personnel, recently awarded a notice of award to PT Indoplas Energi Hijau (IEH), a subsidiary of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which, together with a consortium formed by China's technology partner China Tianying Inc (CNTY), won the April 17 The PSEL project is expected to process 1,000 tons of waste per day and 100 tons of existing waste using moving grate incinerator technology, which is expected to solve the city's waste problem by providing large-scale, efficient and environmentally friendly waste reduction. According to the head of the IEH - CNTY consortium, PSEL will not only solve the garbage problem, but will also improve the quality of life for local residents and reduce the burden on the Chipagura landfill, which is currently congested with garbage and has a poor environment.
