Temporary closure of several roads in Jakarta on May 18th

The Jakarta Transportation Authority (JTA) will implement traffic works in the Senayan area and surrounding roads on May 18, 2025, as the annual event "Digiland Run 2025" will be held on that day at the GBK Stadium in Central Jakarta.The event, organized by Telkom Indonesia, lasted from 04:30 to 09:00 and blended technology immersive experience, boosting MSMEs and sustainability initiatives with a rich agenda of MSME bazaar, running race, music festival and more. The running race features 5km, 10km, and 21km routes through several major roads in Jakarta, such as roads around the area, Gatot Subroto Road, Sudirman Road, Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, and Kuningan Overpass. Vehicles traveling from East (Pankoran) to South (Blok M), from East (Pankoran) to West (Slipi), from West (Slipi) to East (Pankoran), from North (Palmera Railway Station) to East (GBK), from Senopati/Patimura Street to South (Blok M), from North (GBK) to South (Blok M), etc., will be required to follow the designated new route. A number of intersections and road sections intersecting with the race route will be temporarily closed, including Gate 10 at GBK, Asia-Africa Street, General Sudirman Road, and many other road sections and intersections involving a number of important locations and transportation hubs. Relevant authorities are urging the public to avoid the area and the above mentioned roads during the event and choose alternative routes to travel in order to avoid delays and congestion.
