Indonesia's Public Works Ministry Launches 9 Major Projects Worth Rp 90.21 Trillion

At the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI), the Minister of Public Works unveiled nine projects with a total value of 90.21 trillion rupiah to investors.Five water resource projects worth Rp 657.18 billion, including 5.4 MW small hydroelectric power plant (PLTM) at Way Sekampung Dam, 3.32 MW PLTM at Tapin Dam, 7.4 MW PLTM at Leuwikeris Dam, 3 MW PLTM at Cipanas Dam, and 4.32 MW PLTM at Karalloe Dam.Three toll road projects worth Rp 87.65 trillion, namely Gilimanuk-Mengwi Toll Road, Pejagan-Cilacap Toll Road and Karalloe Dam. 4.32 MW PLTM. 3 toll road projects worth Rp 87.65 trillion, namely Gilimanuk-Mengwi Toll Road, Pejagan-Cilacap Toll Road and Sentul Selatan-Karawang Barat Toll Road. There is also a waste disposal project, the Manggar Waste Disposal Project in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, valued at Rp 1.9 trillion.ICI, held on June 11-12, 2025 at the Jakarta International Convention Center, aims to provide a platform for stakeholders from both the government and the private sector to discuss issues related to infrastructure development, as well as to promote business and investment opportunities. The conference is expected to attract the participation of 3,000 stakeholders in the infrastructure sector, including governments, private companies, financial institutions, international organizations, and philanthropic and research organizations.
