20 Indonesian companies named to Southeast Asia's top 500

Fortune has released its latest list of the top 500 companies in Southeast Asia in 2025, with 20 Indonesian companies making the list with the highest revenue in 2024. Among the seven countries in Southeast Asia, Indonesia contributed the highest number of companies with 109, followed by Thailand with 100, Malaysia with 92, Singapore with 81, Vietnam with 76, the Philippines with 40, and Cambodia with 2.Indonesia's Pertamina was ranked third among the five companies with the highest revenue in Southeast Asia. In the category of top 20 companies with the highest revenue, Indonesia's PLN and BRI ranked sixth and fourteenth, respectively. These 20 Indonesian headline companies generated US$222.8 billion in revenue, accounting for 69% of the total revenue of the 109 Indonesian companies in the Southeast Asia 500 Companies 2025 list.Asia's executive editor said the Southeast Asian region has become a global growth engine and a key manufacturing and export center, boosted by Trump-era tariff policies.
