Jakarta Land Prices Hit Record Highs as SCBD Area Overtakes Menteng and SudirmanLand prices in Jakarta's special zones, especially in urban and commercial areas, continue to rise, with some land prices currently in the tens of billions of rupiahs per square meter. SCBD (Sudirman Central Business District) is around 20-30 billion rupiahs per square meter (this is an estimate and is subject to change after the deal is made) Sudirman area is around 18-20 billion rupiahs per square meter; Menteng is around 70-100 billion rupiahs per square meter (due to its proximity to commercial areas). Sudirman area around 18-20 billion rupiah per square meter; Menteng around 7-10 billion rupiah per square meter (due to its proximity to the business district); and Pondok Indah (high-end residential area) around 4-6 billion rupiah per square meter. The closer to the city center, the higher the land value, with the highest land value in Jakarta currently in the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD).
