Indonesia to build Asia's first quantum AI data center

Indonesia is set to build Asia's first Quantum Artificial Intelligence Data Center, an early stage project promoted by the Ministry of Investment and Downstream/Investment Coordinating Board. It will attract $400 million (about 6 trillion dong) in investment. The project was made possible by the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between Worldvuer iByond Limited, a Silicon Valley technology company, and Tunas Prima Industrial Estate in Jakarta. The project is in line with President Prabowo's goal of achieving 8% economic growth in "Golden Indonesia" by 2045, and the data center is a key pillar in achieving this goal. The data center is located in Tunas Prima, a green industrial area in Batam, which has adopted renewable energy infrastructure such as solar panels and independent water treatment facilities, and Apple's partners will also build the center in the area.AirTagsComponent Factory. Relying on the developed Vovea iByond operating system, which incorporates a variety of advanced computing technologies such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics, the processing speed and capacity exceeds that of traditional data centers. The venture will also explore cooperation with Indonesia in energy (with reference to the model of cooperation with Saudi Aramco), telecommunication (with Telkom Group and the Ministry of Communications and Digital), education, mining (especially gold-based), and other industries.microchipsupply chain development) and other areas of cooperation. The government has simplified regulation through the Job Creation Law and the OSS system, and offers fiscal incentives such as tax holidays, R&D and HR super tax breaks, and tax exemptions on equipment imports, with companies submitting formal proposals for incentives and supporting documents to the Ministry of Investment and Downstream. Indonesia will be Asia's first base for quantum AI technology, which has previously been developed in Silicon Valley and the Middle East.BDx Data Centers and Anyon Technologies plan to expand the hybrid quantum computing model to other Asian markets including Indonesia, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, China.
