Djarum raises SSIA stake by over 400 million shares in three consecutive weeks

PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan, a subsidiary of Djarum Group, has continued to increase its stake in PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (ticker SSIA).The cumulative increase in SSIA holdings over the past three weeks totaled 426.4826 million shares, raising the stake to 9.06%. the first increase of 247.9927 million shares was on July 4, and on July 15, the stake increased by 2.1046 million shares, raising the stake to 5.89%; the first increase of 4.0659 million shares was on July 21; the first increase of 29.141 million shares was on July 22; the first increase of 12,607,800 shares; and a maximum of 4.5 million shares. From July 4, when the group started to increase its holdings, to July 25, SSIA shares rose 51.91% to 2590 pts. On July 28, 15:01 (WI time), the shares rose a further 2.7% to 2660 pts. Prajogo Pangestu's Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) owns 2.84846365 million shares of SSIA, or 6.05%, becoming a significant shareholder with a stake of more than 5% on July 15.SSIA reported a net loss of Rp21.7 billion in the first quarter of 2025 (a loss of Rp14.9 billion in the same period last year, a widening of the loss); revenues of Rp1.06 trillion (down from Rp1.09 trillion in the same period last year); and operating costs of 86.87 billion rupiah (78.46 billion rupiah in the same period last year, rising costs); gross profit 19.94 billion rupiah (30.69 billion rupiah in the same period last year, down 35%)
