Indonesia requires companies to comply with job vacancy reporting requirements

The Secretary of Labor recently required businesses to comply with job vacancy reporting requirements, based on thePresidential Decree No. 57 of 2023(Perpres 57/2023)All businesses must go through government platformsKarirhub (SIAPKerja application)Reporting job openings requires companies to report the status of the position filled after the recruitment is complete, and also allows for the filling of positions through theGovernment certified private recruitment platformSynchronized release of information.

The Department of Labor will beCompliance reviews will be phased in starting in 2026, with non-compliant firms facing administrative sanctions (e.g., restrictions on labor services); compliant firms will be recognized with the Naker Award for Labor 2025.The Government expects to build a more inclusive labor market ecology by making the recruitment process transparent.
