Chery plans to build its own plant in Indonesia

Chinese automaker Chery Group is planning to build its own plant in IndonesiaChery currently relies on PT Handal Indonesia Motor's (HIM) plant in Bekasi, West Java, for its assembly operations in Indonesia, but with the rapid growth in demand for Chery and its sub-brands, the existing capacity is no longer sufficient to meet the demand.
