China's AUCMA recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for a smart factory in the Kendal Industrial Park, Semarang City, Central Java Province. This project is a key part of AUCMA's globalization strategy and a new practice of aligning the "Belt and Road" initiative with Indonesia's development needs. The factory will focus on smart manufacturing, producing household refrigeration and smart cold chain products, introducing advanced technologies such as low-temperature refrigeration, green energy saving, and intelligent IoT. Built to industry-leading standards, it will implement localized operations, train local technical talents, and create an industrial base integrating R&D, production, and sales. After completion, the annual production capacity is expected to reach 500,000 household and commercial refrigerators (freezers), filling the gap in Indonesia's mid-to-high-end cold chain market, and radiating to Southeast Asia and global markets. AUCMA chose the Kendal Industrial Park based on its policy advantages and Indonesia's potential as the largest economy in ASEAN. The company stated that it will uphold the mission of "creating the temperature of happiness with technology," work with Indonesian partners to build a model of industrial cooperation, boost local industrial upgrading, and achieve a win-win in economic, social, and environmental benefits.
