Jakarta hosts business forum on Indonesia's special economic zones

The Indonesia SEZ Business Forum 2025 was recently held in Jakarta under the theme "Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Growth", with the aim of establishing Indonesia as a key investment destination through cross-industry dialogues between the government, park developers, investors and strategic partners. The event was divided into SEZ Vision 2026, SEZ Business Dialogue, Business Forum and Interview sessions.With the theme of "Transforming Indonesia's Special Economic Zones: Global Competitiveness and Investment Prospects 2026", SEZ Vision 2026 invites ASEAN and Indonesia to share their experiences and insights on how to transform Indonesia's Special Economic Zones (SEZs).East Asia Economic Research Institute, International Finance Corporation, Ministry of Investment and Downstream IndustriesThe Business Dialogue focuses on "SEZ as a catalyst for economic growth and sustainable development", bringing together representatives fromUnilever, Indonesia Industrial Park Secretariat, Worli Groupand other corporate executives.

The Business Forum will consist of three sessions on "Green Innovation for Long-term Investment Stability", "Strengthening Regional Trade through SEZ Connectivity", and "Exploring High Growth Opportunities in Indonesia's SEZs".
