A Chinese business delegation and the Indonesian Embassy in China held a special meeting in Jakarta with the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs. The two sides reached multiple consensus on expanding bilateral investment, increasing trade volume, and promoting industrial synergy, continuously strengthening the foundation of economic cooperation and steadily advancing bilateral economic and trade relations. This meeting focused on comprehensively enhancing the scale and quality of China-Indonesia trade and investment, aiming to build a high-quality and sustainable bilateral economic cooperation system. A total of 30 high-quality Chinese enterprises participated in the matchmaking, focusing on three strategic tracks: future technology, renewable energy transition, and healthcare, precisely aligning with Indonesia's current industrial upgrading and energy transition needs.

Leveraging this business forum, enterprises from both countries successfully reached multiple cooperation agreements with a total value of up to $2 billion (equivalent to IDR 35.77 trillion), marking a significant achievement in China-Indonesia industrial cooperation this year and injecting new momentum into the development of Indonesia's real economy. The Deputy Minister for Economic and Investment Cooperation at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs stated that the core goal of this special meeting is to continuously deepen bilateral economic and trade linkages, steadily expand the scale of high-quality Chinese investment in Indonesia, enhance bilateral trade activity, and empower Indonesia's industrial development through foreign investment. The Indonesian Ambassador to China introduced that the Chinese enterprises participating in this matchmaking are all focused on cutting-edge emerging industries, which can help Indonesia achieve energy transition, technology industry布局, and medical system upgrades.

The Chairman of the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) publicly stated that local Indonesian enterprises are fully prepared for cooperation and are actively connecting with China's high-quality investment and technology resources. He emphasized that foreign investment requires local synergy and support. Through deep cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises, they can not only precisely grasp industrial development opportunities but also jointly address market challenges, enabling foreign-funded projects to truly take root and empower the local economy.

In addition to industrial investment, this meeting also finalized the core议题 of talent cultivation cooperation. Both sides agreed that the development of future industries such as high-tech, semiconductors, and new energy cannot be achieved without the support of professional and highly skilled talent. Subsequently, the two countries will launch education and skills training cooperation, collaborating with institutions such as the Bandung Institute of Technology to build a talent cultivation system, preparing a professional workforce for Indonesia's emerging industries and high-end manufacturing, empowering industrial upgrading through talent, and helping Indonesia build its core future technology industry chain.
