With a C8A visa, you may
engage in non-commercial sporting activities such as participating in sporting events upon invitation from the Indonesian government, international-level sports championships, or sporting activities organized by international sports organizations as an athlete. This visa also permits you to engage in tourism and visit friends and family.

Visa C8A is a Visit Visa for a single entry to Indonesia with an initial residence permit of a maximum of 60 days, calculated from the date of arrival. This residence permit can be extended and can be converted into a Limited Stay Permit with the same guarantor.

The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor. After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a C8A visa for the Foreigner after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (file format details), including:
- a letter of application and a statement letter from the guarantor,
- a valid travel document valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
(for holders of travel documents other than national passports such as emergency passports, identity documents, etc., must be valid for 12 months);
- proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses during their stay in the territory of Indonesia in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor
- a recent color passport-sized photograph (taken within the last year). Details
Original text：Penjamin (sponsor) harus memiliki akun di evisa.imigrasi.go.id sebelum mengajukan visa bagi Orang Asing yang dia sponsori. Setelah memiliki akun, penjamin dapat mengajukan visa C8A bagi Orang Asing setelah login di evisa.imigrasi.go.id dengan menyiapkan berkas elektronik (detail format file) Orang Asing antara lain:
- surat permohonan dan surat pernyataan penjamin,
- dokumen perjalanan yang sah dan masih berlaku paling singkat 6 bulan sebelum masa berlakunya habis,
(untuk pemegang dokumen perjalanan selain paspor kebangsaan seperti paspor darurat, dokumen identitas, dll harus berlaku selama 12 bulan);
- bukti memiliki biaya hidup selama berada di wilayah Indonesia berupa rekening koran 3 bulan terakhir atas nama Orang Asing atau penjamin

Other provisions
- Stateless Foreigners and Foreigners holding travel documents (other than national passports) such as temporary passports, emergency passports, titre de voyage, certificate of identity, laissez passer, or other similar documents must attach a document of Re-entry Permit to the country where the Visit Visa was applied for as well as a return ticket/onward ticket to another country (except for crew members of transport vehicles).
- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay; please check your visa for information regarding the length of the stay permit.
- Foreigners holding a stay permit from this visa are permitted to receive remuneration or facilities for their activities from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.

- Masa berlaku visa adalah 90 hari sejak diterbitkan. Jika tidak digunakan setelah jangka waktu tersebut, Orang Asing harus mengajukan visa baru untuk dapat masuk ke Indonesia.

Visa application at the Directorate General of Immigration:

Processing time is five working days after the visa payment is received.
