This visa is a Visit Visa for a single entry to Indonesia with an initial stay permit of a maximum of 60 days, calculated from the date of arrival. This Stay Permit can be extended and can be converted into a Limited Stay Permit with the same guarantor.

The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor. After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a C4 visa for the Foreigner after logging in to evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (file format details), including:
- an application letter and a statement letter from the guarantor,
- a valid travel document valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
(for holders of travel documents other than national passports, such as emergency passports, identity documents, etc., it must be valid for 12 months)
- proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses while in the territory of Indonesia, in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor
- a recent color photograph (within the last year). Details
Original text：Penjamin (sponsor) harus memiliki akun di evisa.imigrasi.go.id sebelum mengajukan visa bagi Orang Asing yang dia sponsori. Setelah memiliki akun, penjamin dapat mengajukan visa C4 bagi Orang Asing setelah login di evisa.imigrasi.go.id dengan menyiapkan berkas elektronik (detail format file) Orang Asing antara lain:
- surat permohonan dan surat pernyataan penjamin,

Other provisions
- Stateless Foreigners and Foreigners holding travel documents (other than national passports) such as temporary passports, emergency passports, titre de voyage, certificate of identity, laissez-passer, or other similar documents must attach a document of Re-entry Permit to the country where the Visit Visa was applied for, as well as a return ticket/onward ticket to another country (except for crew members of transport vehicles).
- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay; please check your visa for information regarding the duration of the stay permit.
- Foreigners holding a stay permit from this visa are prohibited from selling goods or services or receiving remuneration, wages, or similar compensation for their work/business from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
