Xiaopeng Automobile recently announced in Jakarta that its flagship model, Xiaopeng X9, has officially landed in the local market with a starting price of Rp990 million (about 467,000 yuan).Meanwhile, its first overseas localized production project has entered the production countdown, the right-hand drive version of Xiaopeng X9 will be realized in Indonesia in July 2025, marking the completion of Xiaopeng's overseas "manufacturing+delivery" full chain of overseas layout. As the most populous country in Southeast Asia, Indonesia, with an annual vehicle sales potential of one million units, is the first production hub of Xiaopeng's globalization layout, focusing on the core market of Southeast Asia. Localized production will enhance market response efficiency, provide customized smart electric solutions for Indonesia and the surrounding region, accelerate technology popularization and affirmative action, and achieve a win-win situation. As a high-end pure electric flagship MPV, Xiaopeng X9 can switch between a large four-seat SUV and a large seven-seat MPV, with features such as one-button electric rear seats, extremely small turning radius of 5.4 meters at the rear wheels, adapting to narrow terrains, AI Intelligence, and a super strong A chassis, which fits the needs of multi-population families and complex terrains in Indonesia.
