Ammunition and explosives (HS 93069010) totaled USD 17.84 million, mainly from France (USD 12.66 million), Czech Republic (USD 2.52 million), and South Korea (USD 1.67 million). Other ammunition (HS 93069090) totaled USD 359,000, mainly from the United States (USD 255,000) and South Korea (USD 104,000).
Analysis shows that the UAE has become Indonesia's largest weapon supplier for the first time, replacing the traditional supplier the United States.
