Deli Indonesia Factory Groundbreaking Commencement

Indonesia's stationery and office supplies industry has maintained good momentum due to strong domestic demand and Southeast Asia's export potential, and modern manufacturing facilities have become the key to improving capacity, efficiency and global competitiveness.One of the world's largest stationery companiesDeliOfficially started the construction of a new factory in Arthar Industrial Park, Karawang, Banten Province, covering an area of about 8.2 hectares, with an estimated construction area of 12 hectares and an investment of 2.25 trillion rupiah, to create a global standard base integrating production, warehousing, and logistics as Deli's main manufacturing center in Southeast Asia.

The new factory will produce a wide range of stationery and office supplies to meet domestic demand and expand regional exports, with an estimated annual production capacity of 2 trillion dong at full capacity, creating more than 3,000 jobs. The company emphasizes on supporting the country's industrialization, applying consistent international quality standards, relying on modern technology to ensure consistent, safe and reliable products, and improving distribution efficiency through localization.

The project focuses on supply chain integration, centralizing production, warehousing and distribution in one park, shortening the logistics chain, reducing dependence on imports, and reinforcing Indonesia's position as a stationery manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia. The project is supported by the central and local governments, the Ministry of Investment/BKPM, the Ministry of Industry, the provincial capitals of Karawang and West Java, and the Arthar Industrial Park, reflecting the efforts to build a modern industrial ecosystem.

In addition to the economic contribution, the project will provide more than 3,000 local jobs, promote human resource capacity enhancement and technology transfer, and facilitate access to high-quality, safe and affordable products in the education and office sectors. The governor of West Java pointed out that the circulation of salaries locally will drive basic needs andmultiplier effectActivate the regional economy.

Related industries such as logistics, raw material supply and technical services will also benefit, creating a multi-level economic contribution. Deli expects to strengthen the production capacity and global competitiveness of Indonesia's stationery industry through a phased approach: groundbreaking will take place on November 26, 2025, construction will begin in the first quarter of 2026, and Deli expects to have the facility completed by the end of 2027 and operating at full capacity by the end of the same year.
