Nanshan Aluminum Increases Investment in Indonesia Electrolytic Aluminum Project

Nanshan Aluminum recently announced that it will increase its electrolytic aluminum production capacity in Indonesia. It plans to establish PT. HEAI through a joint venture between its wholly-owned subsidiary Shengshi Asia and Hong Kong Shengshi Aluminum, to build a project with an annual output of 250,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum in the Bintan Industrial Park, Indonesia. The total project investment is approximately US$437 million (equivalent to approximately RMB 3.056 billion), with an estimated construction period of 2 years. After the project is implemented, Nanshan Aluminum's electrolytic aluminum production capacity in Indonesia will increase from the current 250,000 tons to 500,000 tons, achieving deep synergy with the local alumina production line.
