The 36MWp ground-mounted photovoltaic EPC project at West Java's Pertiwi Lestari Industrial Park, contracted by PowerChina, has successfully passed comprehensive completion acceptance and obtained the PAC completion certificate issued by the owner. This also means the project has officially entered the warranty and O&M phase, fully meeting conditions for commercial operation, providing important support for Indonesia's green data center construction and regional energy transition.
This project is Indonesia's first dedicated solar photovoltaic project for data centers using solar energy as the primary power source, located in the Karawang Industrial Park in West Java Province, only 45 kilometers in a straight line from Jakarta, with outstanding geographical advantages. The project adopts the industry-standard EPC general contracting model, with a total installed capacity of 36MWp and a capacity ratio of 1.2987, with hardware configuration benchmarked against advanced industry levels.
The project uniformly uses 720Wp monocrystalline silicon N-type bifacial double-glass photovoltaic modules, 330kV string inverters, and fixed bracket systems, ensuring excellent overall power generation efficiency and stability. The construction scope covers the entire process of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and grid connection for the photovoltaic field area, external transmission lines, and corresponding upgrades on the opposite side, achieving a one-stop turnkey delivery. After the project is put into operation, its green capacity benefits are significant, with expected average annual power generation of up to 52 million kWh, continuously providing stable and clean green power to the DISM national data center in the park. In terms of environmental value, the project can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 42,000 tons per year, equivalent to planting 230,000 trees, effectively reducing the carbon emission pressure caused by the high energy consumption of data centers and helping high-energy-consuming digital infrastructure achieve low-carbon green upgrades.
As a demonstration project integrating "photovoltaics + digital infrastructure" in Indonesia, this project will effectively optimize the energy structure of West Java, increase the proportion of clean energy utilization in the region, and strongly support the realization of Indonesia's national energy strategy to achieve a 23% renewable energy share by 2025. At the same time, the project creates a new collaborative development model of "new energy power generation + industrial data centers," providing a benchmark for the green development of Indonesia's industrial parks and the low-carbon development of digital infrastructure, once again demonstrating the mature technology and strong strength of Chinese new energy enterprises in overseas green infrastructure construction.
