The signing ceremony of the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) for the Indonesia Amman Copper Smelting Project, constructed by China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), was recently held successfully in Beijing. Representatives from NFC and PT Amman Mineral Industri formally signed the acceptance documents, marking the full achievement of the contract construction goals for this key overseas project and the successful completion of the final acceptance. It also signifies that the strategic cooperation between the two parties has entered a new phase of comprehensive deepening.
As a benchmark project for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the deepening of international production capacity cooperation, the Indonesia Amman Copper Smelting Project is located on Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province. It boasts a considerable industrial scale, with a designed annual processing capacity of 900,000 tons of copper concentrate and an annual output of 220,000 tons of cathode copper. During the construction period, the teams of both sides worked closely together to overcome difficulties, achieving mechanical completion in just 24 months with a successful one-time commissioning. The high-quality and efficient construction standards and professional performance capabilities have been highly recognized by the partner.
The successful acquisition of the PAC certificate for this project is a major achievement under the overall deployment of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group and the promotion of the company's chairman. Prior to the ceremony, the chairman of China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group held a special meeting with the president of PT Amman Mineral Industri. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on core issues such as the layout of the entire mining industry chain, broadening cooperation tracks, and deepening industrial synergy, reaching multiple cooperation consensus and laying a solid foundation for subsequent long-term in-depth cooperation. The president of PT Amman Mineral Industri fully affirmed the project results at the signing ceremony, stating that the successful completion and commissioning of the project confirmed the deep mutual trust and efficient synergy between the two parties.
