The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- Visa application letter from the husband/wife who is an Indonesian citizen
- A valid passport of nationality that is still valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
- proof of having living expenses during their stay in the territory of Indonesia in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount

- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the validity period of the visa is different from the period of stay, please check your visa for information on the duration of the stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in the territory of Indonesia beyond the period of your stay permit, carrying out work that is not in accordance with your stay permit, selling goods or services, unless it is required for your work.
