The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- Visa application letter from the Indonesian Citizen father/mother
- Valid national passport valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date (for holders of travel documents other than national passports such as emergency passports, identity documents, etc., must be valid for 12 months)
- proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses while in the territory of Indonesia in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount

Original text：Penjamin (sponsor) harus memiliki akun di evisa.imigrasi.go.id sebelum mengajukan visa bagi Orang Asing yang dia sponsori.
Setelah memiliki akun, penjamin dapat mengajukan visa bagi Orang Asing setelah login di evisa.imigrasi.go.id dengan menyiapkan berkas elektronik (file PDF atau JPEG) Orang Asing antara lain:
- Surat permohonan visa dari ayah/ibu Warga Negara Indonesia
- Paspor kebangsaan yang sah dan masih berlaku paling singkat 6 bulan sebelum masa berlakunya habis, (untuk pemegang dokumen perjalanan selain paspor kebangsaan seperti paspor darurat, dokumen identitas, dll harus berlaku selama 12 bulan)
- bukti memiliki biaya hidup selama berada di wilayah Indonesia berupa rekening koran 3 bulan terakhir atas nama Orang Asing atau penjamin dengan jumlah minimal USD $2000 (dua ribu Dolar Amerika Serikat) atau jumlah yang setara

Special requirements
- Birth certificate in the form of a birth certificate issued by the competent ministry or institution; or Proof of birth reporting to the Republic of Indonesia Representative or the authorized agency in the field of civil registration (if the Foreigner was born outside the territory of Indonesia).
- Proof of parental marriage in the form of: Proof of reporting or registration to the Republic of Indonesia Representative or the authorized agency in the field of civil registration and a marriage certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator*; or Marriage book or marriage certificate issued by the competent ministry or institution (if the marriage took place in the territory of Indonesia).
- Family Card (Kartu Keluarga/KK) of the Indonesian Citizen father/mother.

- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay; please check your visa for information on the duration of the stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in the territory of Indonesia beyond the period of your stay permit, carrying out work that is not in accordance with your stay permit, selling goods or services, unless required for your work.
