The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account on evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in to evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- Visa application letter from the Indonesian citizen parent
- Valid national passport valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
- proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses while in Indonesian territory in the form of bank statements from the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount

- The visa validity period is 90 days from issuance. If not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period differs from the period of stay; please check your visa for information regarding the duration of the stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in Indonesian territory beyond the duration of the stay permit, engaging in work that is not in accordance with the stay permit, selling goods or services, unless required for your work.
