The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account on evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in to evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- Visa application letter from the child who is an Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
- A valid passport of the foreign nationality that remains valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
- proof of having sufficient funds for living expenses while in Indonesian territory in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount

Proof of the legal relationship between parent and child as stated in the child's family card, including (choose one):
- Birth certificate issued by the authorized government agency in Indonesia;
- Birth certificate translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator unless it is in English, if the child was born abroad; or
- Certificate of child adoption if the child is not a biological child or a child born out of wedlock.

- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay, please check your visa for information regarding the length of the stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in Indonesian territory beyond the period of your stay permit, engaging in work that is not in accordance with your stay permit, selling goods or services, unless required for your work.
