Applicants must commit to and submit proof of cooperation with the government or state institutions within 90 days after entry. Additionally, a certificate of special skills required by the state is needed, or an educational credential meeting the requirements of the designated university list, graduation date, and a minimum GPA of 3.5.

After having an account, you can apply for a visa after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files) of the foreign national, including:
- A valid national passport that remains valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date;
- proof of Immigration Guarantee;
- personal bank statement with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount within the last 3 months (including name, period dates, and account balance).

Special requirements
- Immigration Guarantee by attaching a Statement of Commitment to submit proof of cooperation with the government or state institutions;
- The aforementioned Statement of Commitment must be fulfilled and reported to the Immigration Office that issued the Limited Stay Permit within a maximum period of 90 days calculated from the date of entry into Indonesia by attaching proof of cooperation with the government or state institutions;
- other documents to explain the purpose/intent of the foreign national's arrival, including:
- certificate in the specific field of expertise needed by the state; or
- proof of graduation from one of the list of the 100 (one hundred) best universities in the world within the last 3 (three) years with a cumulative grade point average/grade point average of at least 3.5 (three point five) or equivalent.

- The visa validity period is 90 days from the date of issuance. If not used after that period, the foreign national must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay; please check your visa for information on the duration of the stay permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in the territory of Indonesia beyond the period of your stay permit, carrying out work that is not in accordance with the stay permit, selling goods or services, unless required for your work.
