Must provide proof of former Indonesian citizenship and commit to a qualifying investment or state-owned bank deposit of at least US$10,000; this must be completed within 90 days of entry, and the commitment to retain the deposit must be honored.

The guarantor (sponsor) must have an account at evisa.imigrasi.go.id before applying for a visa for the Foreigner they sponsor.
After having an account, the guarantor can apply for a visa for the Foreigner after logging in at evisa.imigrasi.go.id by preparing the Foreigner's electronic documents (PDF or JPEG files), including:
- Proof of guarantee from the Guarantor (Indonesian Citizen) or a statement of commitment from their parents (Foreign Citizen)
- A valid nationality passport valid for at least 6 months before its expiration date,
- proof of having living expenses during their stay in Indonesian territory in the form of bank statements for the last 3 months in the name of the Foreigner or the guarantor with a minimum amount of USD $2000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or an equivalent amount

- Bukti jaminan dari Penjamin (WNI) atau pernyataan komitmen orang tuanya (WNA)

You must also fulfill:
- A statement of commitment that must be completed within a maximum of 90 (ninety) days from the date of entry into Indonesia, such as:
- A statement of willingness to purchase Indonesian government securities, shares in open companies in Indonesia, mutual funds in open companies in Indonesia, or deposit funds in the form of time deposits in state-owned banks with a minimum amount of US$10,000 (ten thousand United States Dollars)
- A statement of commitment to deposit the Immigration Guarantee value of US$10,000 (ten thousand United States Dollars),
- Documents proving that the Foreigner is an Indonesian citizen, including:
a) Identity Card;
b) Birth Certificate;
c) Family Card;
d) Republic of Indonesia Passport;
e) Diploma, or
f) Land title certificate

Other provisions
- The validity period of the visa is 90 days from the date of issuance. If it is not used after that period, the Foreigner must apply for a new visa to be able to enter Indonesia.
- Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay, please check your visa for information on the length of the residence permit.
- The Limited Stay Permit and Re-entry Permit will be issued automatically once you are permitted entry by the officer at the Immigration Checkpoint.
- You are prohibited from staying in Indonesian territory beyond the period of your residence permit, carrying out work that is not in accordance with your residence permit, selling goods or services, unless required for your work
- You are prohibited from receiving remuneration, wages, or similar from individuals or companies in Indonesia.
